Kantana Group Upgrades Its State-of-the-Art Studio with an Expansion of ICVFX LED Volume Crafted by Dexter Studios and PIXREAL LED Panels
Bangkok, Thailand (April 2024) – Kantana Post Production (Thailand) has just launched its new studio space, making it the largest virtual production LED volume in Thailand. With an ambition to deliver the best quality and true-to-life stage to the market, Dexter Studios and PIXREAL provided the turnkey LED Volume solution. Kantana collaborated extensively with Dexter and PIXREAL to bring this amazing work to life.

Dexter Studios, a multi-award winning VFX and content production company with its own virtual production studio in Korea, provided system design, integration, and operational consulting for Kantana Group. Their involvement was crucial in ensuring that the technical aspects of the studio met the highest industry standards. Dexter Studios' extensive experience and innovative approach helped seamlessly integrate the cutting-edge LED technology, ensuring the new studio space is optimized for unparalleled virtual production capabilities.
The new studio space is equipped with technology from a variety of industry-leading brands and manufacturers. The LED volume consists of PIXREAL’s Black Gold Standard Avatar line and Enzo panels running on the Brompton system. Over 580 Avatar2.3 tiles (Extreme Black Nano Tube Mask Coating) line up the main LED wall, forming a giant U-shaped, 4-degree concave visual display with a diameter of over 15 meters. 188 Enzo panels are aligned as the ceiling screen, creating the brightest studio skyline in the heart of Bangkok City. Five Brompton Tessera SX-40 and ten Tessera XD units were deployed at the studio complex, boosting the hundreds of LED panels to their peak performance. Tech partners also include ARRI, Disguise, Unreal Engine, and Stype.
